Slaty-blue Flycatcher, Ficedula tricolor

Distributed throughout the higher Himalaya
migrates lower in winter. Res. S. Assam hills
It is found throughout the plains adjacent to the hills in winter, and at that time of the year is given to frequenting heavy reed-beds and elephant-grass land as well as forest. They are very sociable little birds, a couple of pairs often hunting in company. The song is sweet, though feeble (ECS Baker-1924).
